Our appetizers, food, service, and chill country atmosphere were excellent. The waitress covered so many duties working short staffed and she was rewarded for it. I hope everyone notices when service personnel go above and beyond. As I stated everything tasted great, but for me there was a stand out. The fried okra was absolutely the best I have eaten. I'm going to have it every time I go now. It was a great time! Thanks, Goode Armadillo Palace and staff.

Goode Company Armadillo Palace is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the lively, Western-style ambiance. The rustic decor with armadillos and Texas memorabilia makes it a fun and unique spot to enjoy great food and drinks. The atmosphere is energetic yet comfortable, making it the perfect place for both casual dining or a night out with friends. The food was outstanding. I started with the famous Armadillo Eggs, which were packed with flavor and the perfect balance of spicy and savory. The BBQ was top-notch, with tender brisket and juicy ribs that melted in my mouth. And the sides—don’t get me started on the sides! The beans and potato salad were incredible. What really set the experience apart was the live music and the spacious outdoor patio. Whether you’re inside enjoying the vibrant atmosphere or outside under the Texas sky, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy a meal. The service was fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right. Goode Company Armadillo Palace offers an amazing mix of delicious food, great service, and fun vibes. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Houston!

This place is hard to miss because of the giant mirrored longhorn armadillo in front. The staff was very nice, attentive and accommodating. The setting is exactly what you would expect for a sit down barbecue burger place. We sat outside in a nice breezeway. We didn’t come on a night with live music, but the stage set up looked like it was well designed to put on an enjoyable show. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was really good. I would eat here again if I return to Houston.

So good! I had the red fish on a half shell with the broccolini. I had the armadillo oil shot & the Luckenbach mule and the service was really friendly.

Caught Carson Jeffrey’s here and boy did they deliver. Hands down one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. The staff was great seating ample and overall a great setup. Even got the courage to try a little two stepping.

This place has some very good food & lots of space for indoor & outdoor events. The chef makes a good grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich has a good balance between moist and smokey-flavored chicken. their old-fashions are very tasty! Enjoy.

Great southern food. Simple dishes done well. Staff are friendly, plenty of parking and lots of open seating. Huge outdoor area which is amazing for a nice evening. Recommend the Yard bird Chicken sandwich. Just an all round great southern comfort food spot.

This place was a real treat! My wife and I wanted a late lunch but weren’t all that hungry. I’d been wanting to try the Armadillo Palace for a while and it didn’t disappoint! It is a very cool place and not very busy because it was well after lunch. We decided to split a plate and order some Butter Biscuits that came with very soft butter and a seasonal strawberry jam, which was delicious!! The biscuits were great. The photo I added was after we already ate two of them. For our meal we ordered the Heritage Pork Rib Chop and wow was this good. The waiter was awesome and split the pork chop for us, which is why it looks so skinny in the photo, but it was perfectly cooked, very tender. For our sides we got the Smoked Chicken Collard Greens and the Bacon Cheddar Grits. Everything was great and came out very quickly. We will definitely be coming back to the Armadillo Palace!
